3D hex defense
Build across an elevated battlefield where position, height, and route control shape every engagement.

PRE-ALPHA DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WORKING TITLE
Build across the hex field, develop the defense, and hold the Core against escalating waves.
PRE-ALPHA FOOTAGE · VISUALS AND SYSTEMS SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Hexsault is an experimental 3D tower-defense strategy project built around an elevated axial hexboard. Terrain, firing lanes, enemy routes, research choices, and modular emplacements combine to determine whether the Core survives the next wave.
PRE-ALPHA FOOTAGEBuild across an elevated battlefield where position, height, and route control shape every engagement.
Develop defensive positions around weapon roles, firing lanes, and the threats approaching the Core.
Direct-fire and indirect-fire systems respond differently to terrain, elevation, and battlefield obstructions.
Explore a 117-node research framework spanning weapons, ordnance, sensors, aircraft, power, and support.
Expand through procedurally generated sectors where terrain elevation and enemy routes vary.
A read-only prototype analyzes the defense; it does not yet alter waves or enemy behavior.
Explore a connected research framework, expand into procedurally generated territory, and follow development of an AI Director intended to adapt future attacks.
The current 117-node research architecture links nine regions across seven levels. LMG, Twin MG, Heavy MG, Light Mortar, and Basic VTOL research connect to live battlefield assets; many other nodes define future systems and do not yet unlock combat-ready hardware.
Advance through procedurally generated sectors built on the hidden axial hexboard. Terrain elevation, expansion branches, and routes create changing tactical layouts while placement, pathing, line of sight, and range remain tied to the logical grid.
The current Observer measures route coverage, overlap, defensive-layer exposure, indirect fire, VTOL coverage, and weak approaches. It is diagnostic only and does not change enemy composition, routes, timing, resources, statistics, or combat behavior. Adaptive attack planning remains a future phase.
Hexsault is being built as a deep, replayable defense campaign where terrain, research, and planned enemy adaptation reshape the fight.
The current pre-alpha prototype includes procedural sector expansion, elevation-aware terrain, line of sight, modular emplacements, a 117-node research framework, and a read-only Director Observer. Planned features, visuals, balance, and the working title may change before release.
